Dag 1 Saterdag 27 Junie
Vertrek vanaf Oliver Tambo in Johannesburg na Kairo met Egypt Air. Oornag -­‐ Aan Boord (Aandete)

Dag 2 Sondag 28 Junie
Ons arriveer vroegoggend in Kairo en haal ons aansluitingsvlug na Istanbul. Istanbul is 'n unieke stad wat aan beide kante van die Bosphorus see gelee is. Die Swart See skei Asie en Europa van mekaar. Met ons aankoms vertrek ons op 'n halfdagtoer en besigtig die St Sophia Museum (4de grootste kerk in die wereld), Blou Moskee en Romeinse Hippodrome. Dag 3 Maandag 29 Junie
Ons besigtig die Topkapi Paleis, Kerk van Chora en vaar per boot op die Bosphorus, die straat tussen die Swart See en die See van Marmara, en sluit die middag af by die Speserye mark en Grand Bazaar. Oornag -­‐ Istanbul (Ontbyt/Aandete)

Dag 4 Dinsdag 30 Junie
Ons vertrek na ontbyt en reis vandag langs die See van Marmara, na Kannakale en Troy, sien area van die Tojaanse perd. In die boek Handelinge word na Troas verwys, waar Paulus minstens drie keer aangedoen het, maar nooit lank gebly het nie. Handelinge 16: 6 en 7 is baie betekenisvol: "Hulle het daarna deur die gebied van Frigië en Galasië gereis, omdat die Heilige Gees hulle verhinder het om die woord in die provinsie Asië te verkondig. Toe hulle by die grens van Misië kom, het hulle na Bitinië toe probeer gaan, maar die Gees van Jesus het hulle dit nie toegelaat nie. Hulle het toe deur Misië gereis en na Troas toe gegaan. Daar het Paulus in die nag in 'n gesig 'n Masedoniese man gesien wat by hom staan en hom smeek: "Kom oor na Masedonië toe en help ons." Sien ook Handelinge 20: 1 – 12 waar daar van Paulus se verblyf van sewe dae in Troas vertel word. Oornag -­‐ Troy/Kannakale (Ontbyt/Aandete)

Dag 5 Woensdag 01 Julie
Ons reis na Izmir (Bybelse Smirna) en na Bergama. Ons besoek eertydse Pergamum, en van die sewe gemeentes en eerste hoofstad van pre-­‐Romeinse koninkryk. Ons besoek die Akropolis, tempel van Athena, biblioteek, Rooi binneplein en ruines van Asklepion. Ons reis verder en sien die ruines van eerstydse gemeente van Thiatre (bekend vir sy kleurstowwe en purper materiaal wat deur Lydia, een van die eerste bekeerlinge uit Europa verkoop is. Dag 6 Donderdag 02 Julie
Na ontbyt ry ons verby die ruines van antieke Smirna, ook bekend as ornament van Asia. Ons besoek Konakplein en kloktoring. Ons volgende stop is by ruines van Sardis, bekend vir sy groot rykdomme. Ons besigtig die gymnasium en sinagoge en reis na gemeente van Fildelfia. Die stad is gestig deur Attalus 11 en het bekend gestaan as die stad van broederliefde. Reis verder na Pamukkale. Dag 7 Vrydag 03 Julie
Ons besoek na ontbyt die Romeinse Spa van Hierapolis (Openbaring 3:14-­‐27). Ons besigtig die tempel van Apollo, Necroplis, teater en Romeinse baddens. Dit is ook hier waar Fillipus 'n marteldood gesterf het. Ons reis verder na Laodicea, een van die sewe gemeentes wat sy ontstaan in 260 v.C. gehad het. Ons kry kans om te swem in die louwarm water (Open 3:14-­‐27) voordat ons reis na ons hotel in Kusadasi, langs die kus van die Egeiese See. Oornag -­‐ Kusadasi(Ontbyt/Aandete)

Dag 8 Saterdag 04 Julie
Ons reis na ontbyt na die antieke stad Efese (Open 2: 1-­‐7). Paulus het hierdie stad op sy tweede en derde reise besoek. Ons sien die kerk van Johannes en die huis waar Maria, die moeder van Jesus haar laaste dae deurgebring het. Ons besoek ook die Skool van Tyrannus waar Paulus geleer het en die Agora, tempel van Artemis, een van die oudstes in wereld. Oornag -­‐ Kusadasi (Ontbyt/Aandete)

Dag 9 Sondag 05 Julie
Ons word oorgeplaas na die lughawe vir ons vlug vanaf Izmir na Istanbul waar ons, ons aansluitings vlug haal na Kairo en ons vlug na Oliver Tambo Lughawe in Johannesburg. Ons arriveer op

Dag 10, Maandag 06 Julie
om 08H05 terug in Johannesburg (SA). Oornag aan Boord -­‐ Ontbyt/Aandete GRIEKELAND – TOER 1 en 2 Dag 9 Sondag 05 Julie Ons word vroegoggend oorgeplaas na die hawe van Kusadasi waar ons ferrie gereed staan om ons na die eiland Patmos in Griekeland te neem. Die heerser Domitianus het Johannes na hierdie eiland verban en dit is hier waar hy die boek Openbaring van Johannes geskryf het. Ons besoek die grot en is die res van die dag vry om met motorfietse die eiland te verken, swem of net lekker te ontspan voordat ons 'n oornag ferrie haal na Athene. Dag 10 Maandag 06 Julie
Met ons aankoms in Athene vertrek ons op ons besigtigingstoer in Athene. Ons sien Adrians Arch, eerste Olimpiese Stadion, Areopagus en Akropolis. Oornag -­‐ Athene (Ontbyt/Aandete)

Dag 11 Dinsdag 07 Julie
Ons reis na Korinte en sien die antieke stad van Korinte, Bema of voorbeeld van die Regterstoel van God. Ons sien ook die Kanaal van Korinte. Ons is die res van die dag vry om inkopies te doen of rond te stap langs die see. Oornag -­‐ Athene (Ontbyt/Aandete)

Dag 12 Woensdag 08 Julie
Ons vertrek vandag en besoek die antieke stad van Delphia, waar Pythia spele plaasgevind het, sien 'n Bizantynse Klooster, Ossioas Lucas, sien Itea Bay, en reis deur die gebergte van Parnassus en sien ook Arachova voordat ons terugkeer na ons hotel in Athene. Oornag -­‐ Athene (Ontbyt/Aandete)

Ons is die dag vry om vir laaste minuut inkopies voordat ons oorgeplaas word na die lughawe vir ons vlug vanaf Athene na Kairo waar ons ons aansluitingsvlug haal na Johannesburg in Suid-­‐Afrika. Ons reis per bus na Rome, die Ewige Stad. Ons besoek onder andere die Basilika van Petrus [St Peter's Basilica] in die Vatikaanstad, Pantheon enTrevi Fontein. Ons besoek die Vatikaan en Sistynse Kapel. Oornag -­‐ Rome (Aandete/Ontbyt)

Dag 13 Donderdag 09 Julie
Ons sien Piazza Venezia, Victor Emmanuel II, ook bekend staan as 'Die Troukoek'. Daarna besoek ons die Romeinse Forum, en kom die Colosseum, waar Nero na gladiator-­‐gevegte gekyk het, aan die beurt. Ons besoek twee kerke, St Paul's outside the Walls, asook St Peter's in Chains, waar ons Michelangelo se beroemde Moses-­‐beeld besigtig voordat ons oorgeplaas word vir ons aansluitingsvlug na Johannesburg in Suid-­‐Afrika. Ons arriveer na 'n wonderlike ervaring in Johannesburg op

Day 1 Saturday 27
June Depart from Oliver Tambo in Johannesburg to Cairo with Egypt Air. Overnight -­‐ On Board (Dinner)

Day 2 Sunday 28 June
We arrive early morning in Cairo and board our connection flight to Istanbul. Istanbul is a unique city situated on both sides of the Bosphorus Sea, separating Asia and Europe. With our arrival we meet our guide and representative and depart on a half-­‐day tour and visit the St Sophia Museum (4th largest church in the world), the Blue Mosque and the Roman Hippodrome before we are transferred to our hotel. Overnight -­‐ Istanbul (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 3 Monday 29 June
After a typical Turkish Breakfast, we visit the Topkapi Palace, the Church of Chora, famous for its mosaics and take a boat trip on the Bosphorus Strait, between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, and spend some free time in the afternoon walking, for shopping and bargaining at the Spice Market and Grand Bazaar. Overnight -­‐ Istanbul (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 4 Tuesday 30 June
We depart after breakfast along the Sea of Marmara towards Cannakale and Troy. We see the reconstruction of the fabled Wooden Horse, Ancient city of Troy ruins, the Roman Bouletarion, Theater and onsite Museum. Continue to Kusadasi and area where Paul once heard the Macedonian Call. Overnight -­‐ Izmir (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 5 Wednesday 01 July
We depart from Izmir (Biblical Smyrna). On arrival our tour bus will await us ready to depart to Bergama. We visit Pergamum, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation (Rev 2:12) and first capital city of the pre-­‐Roman kingdom. We visit the Acropolis, Temple of Athena, Library, Red Courtyard and Ruins of Asklepion. We travel further and see the ruins of the Church of Thyatira (Rev 2:18), famous for its textiles, and the production of purple dye. Overnight -­‐ Izmir (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 6 Thursday 02 July
After breakfast we drive past the ruins of antique Smyrna (Rev 2:8), also known as the ornament of Asia. We visit Konak Square and the Clock Tower. Our next stop is the ruins of Sardis (Rev 3:1), known for its many riches. We view the Roman Gymnasium complex and Synagogue and travel to the Church of Philadelphia (Rev 3:7). The city was founded by Attalus II and was known as the city of brotherly love. We travel to Pamukkale, which has been used as a spa since the second century BC, literally means "cotton castle" in Turkish. The travertine features have their origins in the shifting of a fault in the valley of the Menderes river. As the fault shifted, very hot springs with a very high mineral content (notably chalk) arose. Overnight -­‐ Pamukkale (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 7 Friday 03 July
After breakfast we visit the Roman Spa of Hierapolis (Rev 3:14-­‐27). We view the temple of Apollo, Necroplis, Theatre and Roman baths. This is where Phillip died a martyr's death. We travel on to Laodicea, one of the Seven Churches originating before 260BC. We have the opportunity to swim in the lukewarm water (Rev 3:14-­‐27) before we travel to our hotel on the coast of the Aegean Sea. Overnight -­‐ Kusadasi (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 8 Saturday 04 July
After breakfast we travel to the antique city Ephesus (Rev 2:1-­‐7). Paul visited this city during his Second and Third Journeys.
We see the church of John and the house where Mary, the mother of Jesus, spend her last days. We visit the School of Tyrannus where Paul taught (Acts 19:9) and Agora, where we view the Temple of Artemis. We are the rest of the day free to swim in the sea. Overnight -­‐ Kusadasi (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 9 Sunday 05 July
We are transferred to the airport for our flight from Izmir to Istanbul where we fly to Cairo, via Istanbul and connect to OR Tambo in Johannesburg. We arrive on

Day 10, Monday 06 July at 08H05 in Johannesburg (SA). Overnight On Board -­‐ Breakfast/Dinner GREECE – TOUR 1 and 2 Day 9 Sunday 05 July We are transferred early morning to the harbor of Kusadasi where our ferry will be ready to take us to the Island of Patmos in Greece. At the time of writing the book of Revelation, John was on this island where he was banished for "the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ" (Acts 1:9-­‐10). We visit the cave of John and are the rest of the day free to swim, relax or explore the island by motorcycle before we take an overnight ferry to Athens. Overnight On Board -­‐ (Breakfast/Dinner) Day 10 Monday 06 July We arrive after our overnight in Athens and we depart on a tour and see Adrian's Arch, the first Olympic Stadium, Areopagus and Acropolis. Day 11 Tuesday 07 July
We visit Corinth and see the Bema, an example of the Judgment Seat of God. We are free for the rest of the day to do some shopping or walk in the Plaka in Athens. Overnight -­‐ Athens (Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 12 Wednesday 08 July
The full day (9 hours) private tour to Delphi and St Lucas Monastery combines a visit to the unique archaeological site of Delphi, with one of the most important monasteries in Greece, the St (Ossios) Lucas Byzantine Monastery. A short stop at Arachova, the picturesque winter tourist destination, drive in the countryside of Central Greece and from Mt Parnassaus overlooking the Itea Bay. Day 13 Thursday 09 July
We are free for last minute shopping before we are transported to the airport for our flight from Athens to Cairo where we will connect to OR Tambo in Johannesburg. We arrive in Johannesburg op Day 14, Friday 10 July at 08H05, after a wonderful experience. Overnight -­‐ On Board (Breakfast/Dinner) OPTIONAL EXTENSION -­‐ ITALY Day 11 Tuesday 07 July We depart following our visit to Corinth to the airport for our flight from Athens to Rome. Overnight -­‐ Rome (Dinner/Breakfast) Day 12 Wednesday 08 July We visit Rome, also called the Eternal City. We see St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Vatican, Sistine Chapel and see Piazza Venezia, the monument of Victor Emmanuel II, also known as 'The Wedding Cake'. Thereafter we visit the Roman Forum, and the Colosseum, where Nero watched Gladiator's fighting. We visit two churches, St Paul's outside the Walls, and St Peter's in Chains, where we will view Michelangelo's well-­‐known Moses statue. Overnight -­‐ Rome (Dinner/Breakfast) Day 13 Thursday 09 July We continue our sightseeing of Rome before we are transferred to the airport for our flight via Cairo back to South Africa.
